This doesn't sound good. Dave Littlefield says that Bryan Bullington's injury is minor and that he'll be ready for spring training, but pardon me if I tend to break out in hives when a young Pirates pitcher needs surgery to repair labrum damage, however minor it might be. Bullington is already 25, so he doesn't have the luxury of taking a long time to recover if the injury turns out to be less "minor" than Littlefield says it is.
