PrintI'm not sure what this accomplishes... On the plus side, Pirate signings tend to be counterproductive and since Randa doesn't actively hurt the team, it's a good move, relatively speaking.

Yeah, but I think Koskie is pretty much the same as Randa only more expensive and we'd have to trade someone for him. The only positives here are that it's only for one year and it's not someone like Bell or Koskie that in addition to not being an upgrade over Sanchez are guys that we'd have to trade for.
