Major league owners have approved the sale of the Cincinnati Reds. Anyone know anything about how Robert Castellini might run the team? The Reds blogosphere is curiously silent (or, if not silent, opinion-free) about this, but ownership changes are often a big deal. (That may not be the bloggers' fault - Marc Lancaster says that "information has been tough to come by.") Personally, I hope this change will help the Reds move in the right direction - the Brewers are on the verge of being a very good baseball team, and if the Reds can pull themselves up too, the Pirates will be very lonely in the cellar. And their excuses will look even sillier. A competitive Reds team puts pressure on the Pirates to pull themselves together.
