The Post-Gazette reports that what will probably be a Adam LaRoche-for-Mike Gonzalez trade would've been done by now, but the Braves want to make sure Gonzalez is healthy. Short of Gonzalez taking a physical, it's unclear how the Braves will be able to learn about Gonzalez's health until Spring Training. Then again, if I were Dave Littlefield I'd have Gonzalez on a plane to Atlanta right now to meet with the Braves' doctors. Unless Gonzalez really isn't healthy, I don't understand why this would hold things up.
