This is the thread for Saturday's game. How sad is it that as bad as the Pirates' pitching has been, the Nationals' team ERA has been nearly as high despite pitching in that huge park? And how sad is it that the Pirates are sending out Oliver Perez and Victor Santos in the first two nights of the series, and the Nationals are countering with two guys with worse ERAs?

Almost as sad as the fact that the Bucs just got trounced by Zach Day, maybe? 8-23. Only 131 games to go.
