Ian Snell (9-8, 4.78) vs. Jeff Weaver (2-2, 6.93)

After finally snapping a five game skid last night against the Cards, the Pirates are looking for a second consecutive quality outing from one of their starters.  While the St. Louis lineup is obviously a powerhouse, Ian Snell hopes he is up to the task.

Meanwhile, there is some good news for Pirates fans from the opposite dugout: Jeff Weaver is bad.  Real bad.  Now, I don't want to wish anything worse on this guy than he has already been through, but it would be nice for Pirate fans if he could keep his confidence in the toilet for just one more game.  Weaver is 4-0 with a 2.08 ERA in his career against the Pirates.
