It sounds like the Bucs can have John Farrell if they want him:
While Farrell felt uncomfortable talking about the Pirates specifically, he did say he would like to manage at the major-league level despite having no previous experience in the job.
"It's a career goal of mine, definitely," Farrell said. "I'd love the challenge of managing in the major leagues at some point if the opportunity would ever arise."
The article notes that Farrell hasn't been contacted yet, though, which makes me wonder if there's some procedural reason why or if the Bucs are actually eyeing someone else.
