PrintThe A's have signed Shannon Stewart to a one-year, $1 million deal that could be worth as much as $2.5 million with incentives. Stewart will be a fifth outfielder for the A's.
Man, remember when Jayson Stark almost single-handedly made Stewart an MVP candidate? That wasn't that long ago.

Well
I don't see how it could hurt them. But I'm wondering what it means for the Craig Wilson of the A's, Bobby Kielty. Perhaps the A's will be more active at the deadline this year.
