Community Forecast

Some of you may know me from my website or book. I have run the Fielding Scouting Report in the past. I am now running Community Forecasts, and participation among hardcore fans is appreciated. I'm having a heckavu time finding Pirates fans, so I'm hoping to find a few of you out there.

I'm insulted on Charlie's behalf

I can't believe Tangotiger doesn't know Charlie.

I'm insulted on my own behalf too. "I'm having a heckuva time finding Pirate fans..." Oh, really? I'm having a heckuva time finding Yankee fans, but then, all I do all day is read the 47 active Pirates blogs on the internet.

(I don't know if there's 47, I just made that number up. It could be 67 for all I know.)

Tom, if you don't know what "blogs" are, or what the "internet" is, I can't help you. Sheesh, I thought you were a 21st Century baseball guy?

Pirates Fans

I guess I should say: "I'm having a hard time finding Pirates fans who visit my site". I have nearly 800 responses, and less than 10 Pirates fans submitted ballots.

I've contacted a few of the admins of the top Pirates blogs I found here:
http://striketwo.net/teamblogs/pittsburgh_pirates

And I'm still finding it tough.

So, for a few teams, like the Royals, Marlins, and Pirates, I'm putting in extra effort to contact admins and post on the blogs.
