PrintSome great pitching performances today. First Mark Buerhle no-hit the Rangers, and Claudio Vargas struck out 11 Pirates in six innings. Now Brandon Webb has struck out nine Padres in four innings (in progress).

He was amazingly dominant in that game. Walked one guy and then picked him off, faced the minimum. Benefited from some really good defense, and maybe a bad call, if I saw the SC highlights right. Still, that's pitchin'.
