Amazingly, there are people...
...who consider the protest a bad idea.
The worst probable outcome: The protest fizzles; this reinforces the belief that nothing can be done about the Nutting partnership.
In short, then, we should do nothing about the Nutting partnership because nothing can be done about the Nutting partnership! This is, of course, a self-fulling prediction.
Those critics are just silly.
Then there are protest critics who support the Nuttings! What must I say about them?

I believe...
That doesn't mean I like it.
The problem is that enough people simply don't care about baseball to do anything about it. They just want free bobbleheads and their picture with the Parrot. So they will pack the stadium on giveaways, fireworks, and interleague games. That clearly generates enough revenue, combined with their fat revenue sharing check, to keep ownership happy.
The best thing about the protest is that they have been very articulate and rational in stating their position. Rather than blast ownership with a bunch of emotional ad hominems they are laying out a convincing list of absurdities in relation to the ownership and management of this franchise.
Sticks and stones may break bones, but the truth can hurt like a mother. Especially when all you want to do is count your money in peace in your ivory tower.

And the fans have a right...
I agree...
I am 100% behind the protest.
I wasn't saying I like the way the Nuttings do business, but just stating the obvious fact that it is their team and as long as they don't break any laws they are allowed to run their business as they see fit.
As you stated the only way to change the way they choose to do business is to make it aggravating for them, whether it be via protests or other mechanisms.
