Doug Mientkiewicz, Chris Gomez File for Free Agency

Pirates.com reports that Doug Mientkiewicz and Chris Gomez have filed for free agency, clearing two more spots on the roster. The Pirates haven't expressed interested in having Gomez return; they've expressed interest in Mientkiewicz, but I'd be very surprised if he came back.
UPDATE: Jason Michaels (whose option the Pirates declined) and Luis Rivas are now free agents, too.
