Dodgers Offer Manny Ramirez $25 Million Per Year
Insanity. Either two years and $50 million or three years and $75 million. Dude's 36, flighty, and not in great shape.

two years is reasonable
The dude put up a .396/.489/.743 line in LA. He was the 12th most valuable player in the NL as ranked by VORP. And he only had 229 plate appearances! He’s worth that 2 year deal to me. Committing to Manny for more than two years is absurd, especially because he’s flighty and sometimes just flat out lazy.
2 years at 50 mil is a lot more excusable than that 2/36 gift basket to Andruw Jones who hit .220 and got fat in preparation for free agency.
I think he'll turn it down
and play in Pittsburgh for $2 million

Yanks decline
$6 million option on Damaso Marte. Cheap LOOGY for us?
Don't think so...
they will most certainly offer him arbitration and he was a Type A. That wouldn’t be cheap! It would be nice to see him back in the Burg though!
