Slow Weekend

Just as I disappeared last weekend, expect it to happen again--albeit for a much shorter period of time, hopefully only 36 hours or so--on Saturday, when I'll leave for a show in Brooklyn after a show in Wheeling Friday night. There isn't much to discuss right now anyway, although Nyjer Morgan is featured in this article in a Canadian paper.

I've said on a lot of occasions...

…that I like him on a personal level. I liked Alex Cole and his giant glasses too, for that matter.

But as an analyst, I have to pull for the team to give playing time to good players, or failing that, to guys who have a reasonable chance of developing into good players. And right now, Nyjer isn’t a very good option on either count.

I haven't seen anything about Kremblas your new AAA manager

Over at brewcrewball there is a translation of a recent interview while he was skipper of a Venezuelan league team. Seems like a guy who is unconventional and his players really like him.
