The longest of long shots:
According to Vegas, the odds against us winning the WS next year are 150:1. Link.
If anything, that sounds a little optimistic to me…
If I remember correctly:
Those were the same odds they gave the Boston Red Sox to win the 1967 WS, but since they had to pay off they have been reluctant to give such high odds again. In other words, they must really feel that we are terrible to give us the same odds.
