Tom Gorzelanny to Miss Start with Shoulder Trouble
No! No no no. The organization assures us it's minor; we'll see if we can trust the new guys on that. If this were Dave Littlefield saying the same thing, it'd surely mean Gorzelanny would have to have three surgeries and be out for at least a year. That may not be the case this time, but given the way Gorzelanny was overworked by Jim Tracy last year, nothing would surprise me.

Pitching
It really would not surprise me at all if they really screwed up Gorzo, he was the most likely candidate based on September.
My mind is deserting me right now, but I vaguely remember reading an article about one of the Pirates relievers, either Sharpless (I think) or Bayliss, saying that the dynamic duo messed with his motion last spring, and the terrible numbers after that got him sent down.

Sharpy said it
"They tried to change my mechanics in the spring," Sharpless said, referring to previous pitching coach Jim Colborn. "I got away from some of my strengths, and I needed to get that back."

Trust me
Granted no surgery is necessary (as of now), but people sure are having a field day with it.
