Rajai Davis pinch ran for the Giants tonight

He stole second and scored the game winning run on a double over the head of former Cardinal Jim Edmonds.  Jose Castillo lined out up the middle and Davis almost got caught, but managed to slide back just in time.  This update about players previously on the Pirates, or on one of their NL Central rivals, has been brought to you by the last thing I expected to hear an announcer say this season

"The Giants have to play to their strengths, and I right now their strength is speed."

the Giants have some kids that can run, but they're probably the worst base running team known to man right now. molina getting waved around with no chance, lewis turning his blazing speed into easy pick-offs, bocock playing like an A-baller (hmm...) etc.

Bengie Molina: stretching doubles into singles since 1998.
