One Player to Make the Bucs Better?
OK, put yourself in Doogie's place right now. The Pirates are off to a slow start but Bay looks healthy, Nady is hitting, McLouth/Doumit look like the real deal, Snell looks like he will perform, Grabow (Marte sort of) is getting people out, and Capps is closing out games. 3B is a disaster, LaRouche is not hitting (yet?), the other starters are not cutting it, Freddie is hurt and you have not backup, Jack is out and you have no backup. Rivas and Gomez can't play everyday. Bixler is not ready (if he ever will be).
You can pull off one deal to get one superstar. Connely has indicated that he has some $'s he can throw into the pot. So who do you go "all in" for? Who do you go after? A pitcher or a everyday player?
Any creative ideas?

Someone young enough to help now and in the near future...
A helpful trade might be Teahan, who can fill in at third or in the corner spots if Nady or Bay are traded, and shouldn’t require a bounty. A bigger splash might be someone like Rich Harden if healthy…
