When does Chavez arrive and Osoria depart
Osoria have given up at least one earned run in 50% of his appearances.

Dejan says it won't happen
because the pen needs a sinkerballer. I happen to think he is wrong about that, and they can’t keep Osoria too much longer.
Osoria just takes the mound and throws—no mechanics, doesn’t seem to know or care where the ball is going. When he is effective, he is wildly effective, and that isn’t something that impresses me too much.

This is silly,
mainly because I would have never called for it before the season started, but how much different would the season be (particularly the win-loss record) if Pearce had every start at first this season?
He hasn’t hit all that well in AAA so far, and obviously this wouldn’t address the pitching woes, but it just seems LaRoche has failed in a lot of key situations so far.

Nice double play. That bunt looked like something we would normally lay down.

these announcers are morons
They called Maholm “Pat” all day yesterday and today we have “Snelling” pitching.

“and their most dangerous batter at the plate”
Like saying Shelton is the next Babe Ruth. A streak does not a career make.

What’s up with us leaving Snell in there for this inning? Terrible idea!

Nate is hitting .300+
and he is one of the most unlucky hitters I have seen this year. I don’t know how many times he has hit the ball on the nose right at outfielders.
And the final out last night was a nice shot up the middle, but the Nats have had him covered pretty well by the shift.
