Wow, I posted a while back about how Brian Bullington is the worst #1 overall draft pick ever...(Matt Bush has to prove himself to suck that much). But looking at the entire Pirate first round draft history....it's par for the course.

Bonds is the overwhelming top player taken...but who is second? Jason Kendall or Richie Hebner....that is not a rich draft history. Cutch may step up and surpass those two, but I don't feel strong about any of the other picks. I have to hope that Alvarez or Beckham reverses the trend....I have to, there's nothing else to hold on to.
