Game notes for Indy
confirm JVB and Beam returning to Pittsburgh. One for supposedly for D. Bautista, the other supposedly for Osoria. I haven’t seen any OFFICIAL statements reporting either player to the DL YET.
PG WAS carrying a link on their front page that said Osoria to DL and Morgan to AAA, but that link has been removed in the last few minutes. If both of those moves were made, that would leave 25 man roster at 24. I guess we will see in an hour or so what actually happened.

but I don’t see it getting rained out, based on the radar I’ve been looking at.
PG now has proper moves
JVB, Taubenheim and Beam up, Osoria to DL, Morgan and Barthmaier to Indy. D. Bautista may be available by Monday.

Honestly wouldn't be a bad idea
Duke, Maholm, and even Dumatrait will get better with experience.
I truly belive Nutting, Coonelly, and Neal should take a gamble on a high-priced ace.
If the Bucs can blow $10 million on a washed-up pitcher (thanks DL) then they can take a chance on AJ Burnett, Ben Sheets, or John Lackey.

If the starting pitching would have come through this year, who knows with the offense and bench hitting the way they are, especially with nothing from Sanchez and LaRouche. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the minors have any pitching to help the starting chaos out.
