and you take the starter out. This is a part of the game that I just don`t agree with anymore. An overworked bullpen; that has some suspects because of injuries, but you still don`t take the opportunity to look for a CG. Anyway, hope we keep the lead and get the win.

If there’s been one major criticism of JR on this site, it’s that he keeps his starters in one inning too long. (Sadly though, I agree with you in this instance.)

This is a perfect example of stupid management
of a pitching staff. Maholm should`ve pitched the 8th, and with good results, should`ve been back out there in the 9th. 89 pitches and you take the guy out….Retarded.
John Russell should get fined by the kangaroo court for this one.
