it's unbelievably huge here right now
and for good reason. the only problem is about 90% of the “fans” have no idea what they’re talking about—they’re fair weather fans and pumped once the Pens get to the playoffs.
I still watch the Pirates (mostly) anyway….sigh…

Yeah...
I’d be a fair weather fan, but I’m not really rooting for one side or another.
I’ll have to find a team to root for somehow.
I have no idea about hockey though… I understand 2 rules (icing, goalie interference… which is kinda stupid at times), and know the full names of like 2 players (Sidney Crosby, Chris Osgood) in the NHL.
Anyhow… it’s time for the Pirates to get started now. I’m sick of waiting.

We benefit from a very unique city flag, which is black and gold. I think it’s pretty awesome, and we’re lucky it’s a cool color combo. Would suck to be pink and orange.

We've actually been getting quite a bit out of Duke
out of 12 starts…9 have been 6 full innings or more. First start of the season went 5.2 innings against the Braves, and went 4 innings in 2 different starts against the Cubs.
Hell of a lot more than Snell and Gorzo...
