JR said that Sanchez could’ve pitched yesterday if necessary. (upper arm injury… he had to have his right elbow iced after the game)

Black Hole bruised his thumb in the 9th inning last night (when he failed to catch the pop-up). He might miss the game today.

Guess some of us will have to differentiate between...

FSanchez and RSanchez, and DBautista and JBautista. And it could be worse, if we trade for Andy LaRoche, or their dad comes out of retirement to throw LaLob. We got rid of part of the Wilson problem with Craig going to Seattle, but Josh is still at Indy.

if you traded for a washing machine (new or used), some pitcher would get upset and punch it, sending himself to the DL with a broken arm or hand or ego or something

Relax...

.500. Freddy is having a down year but whether he says so or not obviouls the shoulder is bothering him. That coupled with some bad luck this season. You guys kill me every time you want to dump somebody having a good year even though he has had a pretty stellar track record to date. Remember how many wanted to “dump” Bay last year? Patience…hopefully Freddy will rebound in the second half. And I don’t think the batting title was a fluke at all. He’s hit at every level he’s been at so it is this season that is the anomally. And you are being way harsh on his fielding.

The Bucs, 2 down nobody on, mounted a 7-run rally capped off by Brian Giles HR over the Clemente wall off Billy Wagner in the 1st game of the day-night DH. I had tickets to see Ozzfest but couldn’t get a ride up there so I would’ve missed the greatest comeback ever…..even if it was on radio.
