Nate back and leading off...

Suckchez back at the 2 spot :( ......rest of the lineup looks the same, including Maholm batting 8th.

Can't JR

just look at Freddy BA and see that him at the #2 spot isn’t working.
I mean, you don’t even need to look at all the fancy numbers to see that Freddy isn’t hitting the ball.

The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".

Did EVERY body

who got a nice contract in the offseason go bust?
Freddy
Snell
Capps
Am I missing anyone?
If these had been Littlefield deals, we’d be marching around the stadium with torches and pitchforks.

I guess if we're going to pillage management for those contracts

we’ve got to congratulate them for not extending the Roach.

by Thunder on Jul 5, 2008 6:58 PM EDT up reply actions

Not like

it was their decision. They got turned down, right?

by bucdaddy on Jul 5, 2008 7:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Freddy gets on with 1 out.

Stranded, though.

Obviously.

This team really doesn’t like stringing hits together.

Ugh, not a great swing for Bautista.

These unis are distracting. I sometimes find myself forgetting what team I’m watching.

Cameron goes deep.

1-0 Brew Crew. :(

JVB in Gorzo's slot for now.

Unless he has to pitch Monday or Tuesday, he will start Wednesday. Dumatrait and Snell to be on pitch counts Monday and Tuesday.

Actually...

I think 2 or 3 more real bad starts…he’ll get the same treatment that Bullington and Burnett have (getting DFA’d).

by Thunder on Jul 5, 2008 8:00 PM EDT up reply actions

X-Man takes 3 strikes...

not much of a discount on those Astros tickets so far.

by Hitman Easler on Jul 5, 2008 7:58 PM EDT reply actions

Wow, what a weird play.

by Charlie Wilmoth on Jul 5, 2008 8:13 PM EDT reply actions

You are surprised?

It’s not like it hasn’t happened to this team before.

by Thunder on Jul 5, 2008 8:18 PM EDT up reply actions

Not at all...

Be even less surprised if Maholm gives the lead right back.

by Hitman Easler on Jul 5, 2008 8:20 PM EDT up reply actions

Wow, another great play by Wilson.

by Charlie Wilmoth on Jul 5, 2008 8:45 PM EDT reply actions

The Brewers’ announcers have a point – it’s weird the Bucs didn’t pinch hit for Maholm there. He’s thrown 96 pitches and he was leading off the inning.

by Charlie Wilmoth on Jul 5, 2008 8:53 PM EDT reply actions

JR is the bizarro manager....

Milwaukee’s announcers just don’t know it yet.

by Hitman Easler on Jul 5, 2008 8:55 PM EDT up reply actions

bwhahahaha

that was Pirate-like.

Is Kendall still drunk from yesterday’s BBQ?

by lost_zero on Jul 5, 2008 8:59 PM EDT reply actions

No idea what Kendall was thinking there. Great work by Bautista and Wilson.

by Charlie Wilmoth on Jul 5, 2008 8:59 PM EDT up reply actions

Definitely a heads-up play by both of them. No hesitation at all on either end.

by lost_zero on Jul 5, 2008 9:00 PM EDT up reply actions

Not able to see the game...

How did they turn 2 with a tag play at third?

by Thunder on Jul 5, 2008 9:03 PM EDT reply actions

Kendall took a wide turn at 1st

didn’t get back in type.

They got the runner at second into a rundown and then Kendall, maybe thinking the runner would stay in the rundown longer, ran too far around first.

by Charlie Wilmoth on Jul 5, 2008 9:11 PM EDT up reply actions

Gagne

His fastball is straight as an arrow.

Let’s see if Bay or Doumit can line one up.

by lost_zero on Jul 5, 2008 9:05 PM EDT reply actions

is Bay

still up? Yahoo shows him 1 ball 1 strike

by Battlin Bob on Jul 5, 2008 9:12 PM EDT reply actions

Walkman

walks the leadoff man. Got a bad feeling here.

by Hitman Easler on Jul 5, 2008 9:16 PM EDT reply actions

Obvious move

to walk Braun to get to Fielder and set up the DP or the 3 run homer.

by Thunder on Jul 5, 2008 9:19 PM EDT reply actions

Greg Brown didn't think so....

He called it “against the book”.

Not sure he’s paying attention sometimes.

by lost_zero on Jul 5, 2008 9:23 PM EDT up reply actions

So a great start

by Maholm gets wasted by our wonderful bullpen.

by Thunder on Jul 5, 2008 9:23 PM EDT reply actions

Why didn't Grabow or Marte come in

to face Fielder? It’s garbage game management like this that will prevent the Bucs from reaching .500

by Bad Andy on Jul 5, 2008 9:26 PM EDT reply actions

Why didn't he walk Kendall yesterday?....

It never ends with him. It’s almost like he is trying to prove he is some anit-book genious like LaRussa.
