Welp...
Nyjer vs. Michaels
I know you all would rather see Pearce than either of them, but which one would you rather have playing right now?

Wonder if Minky
can get under Z’s skin as well as he can the Big Unit?
It being a cubs broadcast...
I don’t think we will find out.
major tantrum!
shown on FSN PGH
he is a joke

He's also
up in the strike zone most of the time.
Snell
is going to get crushed if he keeps leaving balls up like this. Strike Three on Lee should have been hit about 400 feet
Get Z out now
and he is done

Zambrano
should bat clean-up. .361 with 4 homers only hitting every fifth day
58 pitches through 3 innings
looks like bullpen for the 6th inning.
Not very good for Snell there,
Two awful looking breaking balls that missed high and away, he also missed with his fastball twice

bullpen is going
to be in the game earlier than anticipated.
the one guy on this team that should
most know how to bunt…pops one up.
And I was hopeful that Snell was rebounding
I should have known better…….
Moss has zero range

that sucked
Unlucky but he shouldn’t have been running there. And he looks kinda hurt

Hell just froze over...
Freddy walks for the first time since June 15th.
Streak ends at 204
consecutive plate appearances without a walk by Freddy.
Wow
The Lite Bucs chase Zambrano after 4 and a third. Men on second and third with one out.
i can't believe
the Pirates haven’t already rolled over
The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".
no matter how bad
this team looks…and is…the one thing they won’t do is roll over

Nyjer Morgan
Gets the softest looking hits ever. Seriously, how did he manage to get 15 bloops to fall in?
Two outs, tie game, runner at third,
best hitter at the plate…does Cotts really think Morgan is going to run here?

People are going to cite that bunt as evidence
that Nyjer Morgan is good for the rest of the season, and it is going to get really annoying.
People like me
Will simply remind them what he did after he reached.
are you serious
didnt see it

JESUS CHRIST
How do you steal 44 bags in the minors and still not learn how to slide???
When you start a head first slide
4 feet from the bag…you are going to overslide almost every time.
This really needed to be Capps here
The good part of the lineup is coming up THIS inning not NEXT inning. But gee, he’s the closer, he can’t pitch NOW!
MY GOD
so now this MORON is going to bring Sean Burnett into the game. Oh, this ought to be just GRAND.
You think you're pissed, Hansen?
The rest of us didn’t get paid more money than we’ll ever see in our lives to watch that.
This most disturbing thing about the Hansen performance was how it looked like he really didn’t have an interest in throwing a strike at all. There was this very weird ineveitability to the whole thing. Kind of like, “I am just going to throw the ball any dang place until I get taken out of the game”. That piece of $#%^ performance really put a sour taste in my mouth about him.
What the hell?
Et tu, Freddy? How the hell did you not get that?
burnett about to take one for the team
assuming that Davis is N/A after pitching last 2 days…Capps is all that’s left in the pen.
oh my

Whoever has
the most rest at Indy may be up here tomorrow for long relief.
The Worst Part
All you hear from the Cub announcers is them kissing the Cubs’ asses. “Its their approach”, “So much confidence that they can get it done”, but suspiciously lacking the “Well the Pirates just suck, and the Cubs should be getting killed with those 3 errors.”
God Created the World Out Of Nothing, Paterno Built A National Superpower On Cow Fields...
what were they saying
when Soriano dropped the ball?

First question in the post game press conference should be...
Reporter…John, how do you feel about the execution of your pitching staff??
JR…I’m all for it.
Love it when the Mets
gag a 7 run lead…now if only we could get the Cubs to give up 7…in one inning.
we would still blow it
i believe we just pinch hit for capps…sooo

Let's see...
2 Bautistas…2 LaRoches…and now 2 Chavezes. Jesse to be brought up from Indy for Wednesday’s game…per DK’s blog.
Likely moves…Dumatrait to 60 day DL to open a spot on the 40 man…Hansen to Indy.
