the Phillies announcers attempt to apply logic to Snell’s statistics and pitching…

I think that one more good start at Indy and Gorzo will be back. That’s not to say that he couldn’t get traded along the line. Considering what we’ve seen out of Gorzo and Snell, I would rather have Gorzo. I believe there’s more physical problems with Gorzo that can be straightened out. Snell…seems to be fine physically.
I don't know I think Gorzo pissed some people off with his attitude
and the rate the pirates have been if they were going to bring him back he would be back by now…

the 35 pitch in an inning limit in the Pirates minor league system doesn’t apply to the big club. Snell threw 37 in the first inning.

as pitching coach. Or better yet…let Snell get in the box against Gibson. Yeah…I know…Gibson is pushing 70…but I bet he’d still brush someone back.
and why are they insistent on making Freddy a Lead off hitter
he has a terrible Average and a terrrible on base percentage. not to mention that he never works the count and be a catalyst like the lead off spot is supposed to be…It makes me sick, At best he could be a 8 hole hitter better scenario would him being a hitter for another team

DK's been telling us
to leave the pitchforks at the door for quite a while now. About time the announcers have figured out that the natives are VERY restless.
I see lots of help coming from Hickory
De Los Santos and Simon combined for 1 IP, 2 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 5 BB, 1 K and 1 HBP. Bad news for Hickory is that was in the 1st inning. Obviously, De Los Santos hit his 35 pitch limit with 1 out in the 1st.

tonight is Snell’s 23rd start. He’s given up 20 runs in the first inning (ERA 7.83) and teams are batting .384 against him in the first inning.
I didn’t realize they allowed handicaps (spotting teams runs) in the majors.
