Pirates Allow Two Hits... and Four Runs

This is one of the weirder box scores I've seen in a while. Paul Maholm, Denny Bautista and Tyler Yates two-hit the Brewers today--and both the two hits were singles-- but allowed four runs. They did so by allowing nine walks. Even more remarkably, Yates didn't allow any of them. Maholm had six, and Bautista had three.

I liked the idea behind the Denny Bautista acquisition, but it sure hasn’t turned out too well, has it?

Also, would it kill Yahoo to distinguish between Adam and Andy LaRoche in the box score? It’s only two extra letters…
