Me thinks that
JR wants to see the Brewers in the playoffs.
The Utah Jazz. The Jazz... duh.
The best NBA team in Utah... no doubts about it!
Playing For Pride. Pirates, Utes, Panthers, and more...
Because, in the end, only one team can "win it all".
We probably need another outfielder...
looks like Nyjer may have tweaked a hammy.
hmmm
I’m guessing Minky will just fill in….or else its Cutch for 3 games! Woo!

Ha! No, I don’t think we’ll be seeing that. It’d be fun, though.

"It's Deja Vu all over again"
Last night — top of the first, bases loaded, one out. Black Hole and Pearce strike out.
Tonight — top of the first, 2 men on, one out. Black Hole and Pearce strike out.
It’s Groundhog Day.
Do we still get to call him “Black Hole”? He’s been awfully good for a couple months now.

I think
we’re calling him Arb Contract now…

I like Black Hole
plus, we might as well get used to it again… it’ll be useful again next season.

Dunno Charlie
Those were some “awfully good” K’s the first innings of the last two games. And last I heard the season was 6 months long, so I don’t give out awards for a good “couple months.”
I haven’t analyzed too many statistics, but his OPS is squarely in the 3rd quartile, 14th out of 24, among qualifying ML 1B this year. Connor Jackson and Derek Lee could still catch him.
Paulino's
superior game calling has Duke throwing 25 pitches in a three-up-three-down first inning. Brilliant. At least he finally had him toss a couple curves at the end.

the Milwaukee announcers
are real proud of what they’ve done against our AAA club last couple of days.

They're
getting no-hit so far…
(like that means *anything*)

FWIW
AP’s transactions wire says Tanner Scheppers signed with the St. Paul Saints.
Interesting
I guess the rumors of some bad blood with his Fresno State coaches may have been accurate. I think he did still have eligibility…
What a pitch sequence to McLouth...
0-0 fastball, outside
1-0 fastball, inside
2-0 curveball, low, fouled off (McLouth was looking fastball)
2-1 curveball, low
3-1 curveball, in the zone, fouled off (McLouth looking fastball again)
3-2 fastball, outside corner, taken for strike 3
That’s just not nice.
Bixler sucks
Another E-6. The scorer generously gives Cameron the Brewers’ first hit.
Pearce!
Ties it up on his second dinger of the series!
Ahh, good to see you again, Joggin' Ronny.
A DP ends the inning.
Sit him
the fuck down & put in Chavez. NOW.

why in the heck did Duke bat in the top of the 7th inning...
…with a man on and 2 outs? sure, they got another inning out of him in the bottom of the 7th, but he’s now up to 107 pitches. why not pinch hit for Duke there?
DK reports
Moss to have surgery – out 4-6 months.

Walkman strikes out the side
Anyone know how Walkman has done the last month or so. Seems like he is walking a lot less hitters these days.
Agreed

One power hitter
on the bench, but JR won’t PH him. DOUMIT!!
Doesn’t JR have like 3 backup catchers now?
Sanchez taking a siesta on that grounder??
certainly catchable.
augh.
never mind Jack PH.

JR didn't take the bait to use his last lefty...
but will it make a difference?? Cause Prince can’t bat until the 11th…if we are still playing.
Last batter of the 10th...in any case
Ryan Braun.
apparently.

Unfortunately...
my pitch selection mirrored Paulino’s…only I knew what the result would be. We’ve seen the ending to this movie too many times this year.
