The New Uniforms
I've never really understood the whole phenomenon of sleeveless tops, and I didn't get the red streak on the caps either, so I like these changes.

Not that it matters,
but I really liked the home sleeveless unis and will be sad to see them go. Alas, I don’t particularly care as long as they win – which they won’t for a while.
Good day.
Me too
I like the sleveless too because they were like the ones worn by the 1960-era team. I know that a lot of teams tried the vests and it didn’t really work out (just a fad), but for the Pirates it seemed classic.
I do like the new black jerseys.
Now ...
they need to raise the pantleys and go back to stirrups.
That should be good for at least 10 wins.
Best move of the offseason in my opinion.
Really didn’t like the sleeveless look.
I made most of my life decisions at a Foghat concert... I stand by them.

Wow
I thought everyone was going to not like them the way I do. I think the new uniforms are terrible. The black ones look like batting practice uniforms. I thought the sleeveless looked good. These new ones bring you back to the terrible years of the late 90s.
uniforms
I liked the sleeveless, but these aren’t bad. I do hate alternate jerseys, though. Should only be used in spring training and batting practice.
I would, however, like to see the Pirates wear a throwback 1971 uniform every Sept. 1, home or road, to honor the first all-black lineup in baseball history. They had sleeves, so maybe Coonelly will go along with the suggestion.
I like them
Although the black model really does look like a batting practice jersey, the number on the right chest spiffs it up and it us a tremendous improvement over that eyeball curdling red monstrosity. Still, I would have liked them to introduce a 1930s red and blue scripe alternate jersey. With all that, they can wear anything they want as long as they win.
