Vasquez, who's played his entire career in the Tigers organization, has two full years at AAA in which he's posted rather low strikeout rates and good walk rates, and allowed lots of homers. He allows a lot of fly balls. Major league hitters will probably destroy him, but at least he's capable of starting.
