Oops, didnt see this when I posted
probably the page hadnt beenr efreshed in a while… How do i delete the extra unnecessary post? Charlie..?
I dont have much background on him, but a quick glance through his minor league stats show nothing of interest. However, he is a left hander, which is pretty much all there is, aside from the fact that he is 24.
He has saved some games, never had a great ERA, and never a WHIP below 1.4 (I think). Another mystifying waiver claim?
Here’s his MiLB profile. Looks like some okay numbers for his first year in AAA, at the age of 25. Not sure how the PCL stacks up against the IL in terms of pitchers’ advantage, though.
Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89
I know A few people who went to school there.
I bet in the very least he will be the biggest partier on the team.

"Baseball is better than football. Think about it, eighty degrees, a cold beer and a short-sleeve shirt is better than 30 degrees, a hip flask and six layers of clothes under a lap blanket. Take your pick: suntan or frostbite. " - Thomas Boswell
He rated as Seattle's #23 prospect coming into the season.
According to BA’s scouting writeup, his fastball sits 88-92 with good movement (sometimes too good – hence all the walks), and he’s also got a good slider that he throws fairly often. Some groundball tendencies. Killed lefties in ‘08, but hasn’t been as strong in other seasons.
Probably projects as a situational reliever, if he can improve his command. We could use one of those. I kind of have a feeling, though, that this is the sort of guy you claim now and then try to slip through waivers again in a month.
Sounds like a good pick-up
to add lefty relief depth to the organization for next year.
depth might actually be pushing it a bit. dumatrait, veal and… this guy unless the danny moskos era is closer than we think.
so who's the best lefty reliever of all-time?
or, as thts probably too hard, of the 21st century?

I'd have to second Billy Wagner.
It will be hard to find a more dominant lefty (or righty for that matter).
