Imagine that...

Maholm was pitching a large part of the season with a bad knee.

Maholm injury

Well — DK was right on top of this story. (/sarcasm)

by WstCstBucco on Oct 3, 2009 8:10 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

He did...

mention it in his blog entry for the game. Expect that the Pirates and Maholm opted to keep quiet about it all season.

by Thunder on Oct 3, 2009 8:11 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I found out about that in May

when he started to struggle ridiculously bad

Maholm shoulda gone to the DL.

Maholm hurt, Andy swinging at 70-75% the first half of the season…so many secrets…

"Hello!"

Hey, at least he’s a Pirate fan.

JR should put in Veal — he needs the work.

by WstCstBucco on Oct 3, 2009 8:08 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

should we expect to see

anthony claggett? this season?

by BurgherKing on Oct 3, 2009 8:08 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

I hope not

by cocktailsfor2 on Oct 3, 2009 8:09 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

why not?

we’ve done everything we could have… even avoided a 100 Ls… might as well take a look

by BurgherKing on Oct 3, 2009 8:10 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Why not just throw

Veal out there?

Or Jackson?

I really can’’t think of reason 1 why we picked Claggett up, to tell the truth….

If Duke doesn't start throwing more strikes...

we’ll probably see him tonight. Otherwise…tomorrow.

by Thunder on Oct 3, 2009 8:10 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Love to stay...

gotta go.

The GF thinks the baseball season is over. And she’s right.

by cocktailsfor2 on Oct 3, 2009 8:16 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

First game all season...

that Duke has had more than 3 walks. Is there really any reason to leave him in right now?

by Thunder on Oct 3, 2009 8:37 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Other than...

JR trying to make a point.

by Thunder on Oct 3, 2009 8:38 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Good old Bootcheck...

Still as ineffective as ever. Sigh.

by maguro on Oct 3, 2009 9:09 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

The front office

sure does like cast-offs from the Yankees like Jackson, Hacker and now Claggett.

It would be great if we could good production from at least two of them next year, especially with Hansen and Ascanio out of the picture.
