A list of possible non-tenders. Which, if any, should we be going after and who else are you keeping an eye out for?

If we move Doumit, either C might be worth a look.

Kelly Johnson also interests me, especially if he could play SS.

Wang would be another arm to add in the low-risk/high-reward bin that could come cheap.

Johnson can't play SS.

I could see value in Wang, depending on his health.

If you’ve lost all trust in Pearce, Garko (who was born in Pgh) or Gomes could be an upgrade as a RH bench bat.

Bench bat...

…and platoon partner for Jones/Clement, that is.

Brian Tallett looks like a decent fit to me. He was better than John Grabow in 07 and 08 (admittedly that’s not saying much). He was forced back into the rotation in the AL East last year because of many injuries to the Blue Jays pitching, which hurt his 09 numbers a bit.

Line up of non-tenders > 2010 Buccos?

I feel like there are some useful guys who got non-tendered. Garret Atkins, Kelly Johnson, Jack Cust would make 3/4ths of a decent hitting infield, though a horrible defensive one. Through in Johnny Gomes and Ryan Church, and you get a decent start toward building an outfield.

If we didn’t just draft Raynor in the Rule 5, I’d say we pick up Ryan Church. He’s solid defensively and can even hit a little bit. Church would be a better hitting version of Brandon Moss and can even hold his own in center (-3.0 UZR/150).

Here is a running list from mlbtraderumors.com
