They don’t go beyond 2M to sign him, preferably in the $1-1.5M range. I m not sold on this too much. It’s good to have a replacement around, but I don’t want to overpay too much for Crosby.

As people pointed out before, they should give him #87 and make a ton of money on sales!

With the payroll flexibility they have, I’d be OK with cutting Vazquez should this go through. He’s a sunk cost.
