The 40-Man Roster: It's Different
This article at the Tribune-Review website, which catalogs the turnover in the 40-man roster since this time last year, is pretty cool. Especially interesting is the bit in the end that lists all the players who have come off the 40-man since then. There's Jason Bay, Xavier Nady, Damaso Marte, Jose Bautista and then 17 players who have no value whatsoever. Some of them (Ty Taubenheim, Ray Olmedo, Chris Gomez) were acquired by the new administration to fill roster spots, and of course most big-league 40-man rosters have a few guys at the end who aren't so hot, but the lack of depth Neal Huntington inherited is really staggering.

Talent Evaluation
This is just another example of how Team Coonington can’t evaluate talent. The front office doesn’t have a plan.
I just thought I’d get that out of the way.
Nice one, WTM
It’s not real, but an amazing simulation.
Bwa ha ha.
