Who are these guys and what have they done with the real Pirates?

I mean, I would love to see our team ERA right now, particularly if you take out the AA starters who go in to eat up a few innings.

As for the batters, while they haven't overwhelmed, they are getting clutch hits that drive in runs and keep us in the game. And although you throw some of these out - the other teams also have to throw in AA pitchers - a lot of it is coming against MLB and AAA level pitchers.

Anyone want to bet against Craig Monroe making the team? He's 3 for 3 today w/2 homers, both off a Minnesota starting pitcher from last year.

So I must repeat - what is going on here? If its the apocalypse, I want time to pack. That' the only rational explanation I have for Spring Training so far this year.
