Marlins Claim Dave Davidson
Dave Davidson, who's been floundering in Class AA so long you half expect to find him behind the seafood section counter at an Altoona Giant Eagle, is about the last person I thought the Bucs would lose on waivers, but the Marlins apparently see one of their own when they look at him. The Fish have a bunch of pitchers on the DL, so hopefully all that's going on here is that they need an extra arm, not that they see something I don't.
Thanks to phil79 for the catch.

That’s kind of harsh, isn’t it? I wish Davidson good luck. I don’t think he was ever going to make it with the Pirates, anyways. Maybe a fresh start will do him good.
Or the Marlins orginizational pitching instructors
they seem to develop pitchers, especially power arms well in the minors.
McLouth is The Trouth
Might as well just pack it in now
The mere fact that Davidson was exposed to waivers in the first pace has to make you question the Pirates’ commitment to winning.
Absolutely disgusting piece of management, no doubt.
