Garrett Jones

The Pirates are not hitting the ball. We have a RF who has 2 RBI's more than a dead person, despite getting 63 AB's. On the other hand, we have our AAA player of the month, Garrett Jones, who is hitting .314 with 3 HR's and 20 RBI's and is among the league leaders in Doubles and RBI's. If we are still .500 despite the lack of hitting, why aren't we doing something to help bolster the lineup with Doumit out. It's not like Jones is a kid, he's 27, and he's always been able to hit for power.

Pearce is apparently dead to NH and JR, so why not play Jones and see what he is able to do? Moss can be good, but for now, he's a servicable 4th outfielder, not a guy who has even batted 3rd in the lineup on occasion (yes Nate was out, but still, 3rd is 3rd).

This blind spot that they have for Moss because they are trying to prove they made a great trade for Bay has to stop. The Bucs can win 82 with this team, it will take a lot of work, and a lot more hitting. Pull the trigger.
