"As a 13-year-old, Bako was cut from his ‘AAA’ team and then failed to make the Lorne Park Spartans high school squad in Grade 9.
"When I was younger, playing for the Mississauga Twins, I was never the best player on my team," admitted Bako. "I was probably below average at that time, but I worked my tail off.
