Android alert on Gimenez

Not so much Valbuena, though. I’d heard his name going into the season as a potential impact prospect for the Tribe. Also, Huff just kinda sucks. However, I’ve gotta ask – Gimenez who? I hadn’t heard of him until about a week ago. No idea about anything there. Figures that he’ll proceed to hit for the cycle or something today.

Guess cutting Monroe wasn't enuogh to get Moss back on the field.

Maybe he needs to start sliding over bases to claim an every day job.

by Slick1 on Jun 23, 2009 6:57 PM EDT up reply actions

I know it's a LHP

but seriously, how many days off does Moss need (regardless of what hand the opposing pitcher throws with)? Last time out, he didn’t play because it was a LHP, but went 1-1 pinch-hitting against the LHP. Why not at least give him a shot?

Do any of you think Sizemore is overrated?

Every year I hear people say if they could choose anyone to start a team with Sizemore is extremely high on the list. I just don’t see it.

Almost yearly 30-30 guy (or close to it)

good defense, decent average, still relatively young. rated about where he should be I think

by Green_Wave on Jun 23, 2009 7:40 PM EDT up reply actions

I'm not saying he isn't a great player

I do agree with that but I could think of a nice group of players I’d go with before Grady. Pujols is by far 1 and its not even close.

by BattlinBucs on Jun 23, 2009 7:43 PM EDT up reply actions

I don't think

anyone would take him over Pujols or a number of other players. But if every player in the majors where put in a draft, he probably would go in the first round or early 2nd.
