Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89
Greinke tomorrow.
Also, another start for Moss!
Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89
I stand corrected - Greinke scheduled for Sunday.
Tomorrow, the Royals are starting one “Bruce Chen” who hasn’t pitched since 2007…
Android alert?

Looking for some balance in the universe
Like the PBC AAA SP who’s just called up pitches 6 scoreless innings.
It could happen. :)
Hmmm. I hadn’t heard that D’Arnaud moved up to Lynchburg. Any chance of him being ML-ready by 2011?
Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89
Watching the TV feed, so far all pitches have been like 89-90 mph like he doesn’t change speeds much.
and what a weird double play. Is that like 2 nights in a row with the odd double play?
his strikes, so far.....
are just avg. fastballs. He can’t seem to get his other pitches over just yet.
Nice recovery for Vasquez
He settled down a lot in the 3rd — a K and encouraging a pop up out of Guillen.
But his curve ball is so slow it walks up to the plate.
Holy Moses
I would have bet real money that NyMo couldn’t hit 2 balls out of the park in one year.
Wow!
there you go nyjer see thts what im talkin bout wit him

Grossman has homered for WV.
So has Latimore. Anderson had 2 BB and recently promoted Starling has a 2B. In Altoona Gorky’s singled in his 1st AB and Alvarez…wait for it…strikes out!
61 pitches.
Will he go one more?
Anyone watching? Is the pen active?

Gah. Completely forgot about that.
And…holy crap! Pronger to the Flyers! Ugh.

I here that was a bad deal for Philly.
Why is that?

As a Flyers fan
Some don’t like it because they gave up Sbisa (their 1st round pick last year who played much of the season in the NHL and looks solid), this year’s first and next year’s 1st. The Lupul portion isn’t a big deal. Also Pronger could just walk since he’s a FA after this year (I believe) so there is that concern. I mean the first picks hurt, but the Flyers system is in good shape and most of their young guys just came up and are under the team’s control for a while.
Ah.
I’m really trying to get into hockey. But it’s so hard.
Living in Utah, we don’t really hear much or anything (hockey-related).
So finding a favorite team and all is kinda hard.
Maybe I should just start trying to watch some games…

It’s college sports/NBA first, and nothing else 2nd. Maybe minor league hockey or basketball or baseball or indoor football, but yeah…

In addition
the Flyers are essentially out of cap space now, with the addition of Pronger.
At some point, Briere is going to have to be traded. Somehow. Or maybe not – I enjoy watching the Flyers’ cap peril.

Not. I’m really just here since I traveled from PA-to-DC-to-PA again all today so I’m not moving.

I found the picture of Archie Bunker but
can’t get it in this silly little box. What are you, meathead, a commie?
No,

“Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I’m just a caveman.”
“I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists.”
“Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the honking horns of your traffic makes me want to get out of my BMW and run off to the hills or whatever. Sometimes when I get a message on my fax machine I wonder, Did little demons get inside and type it? I don’t know! My primitive mind can’t grasp these concepts.”
“But there is one thing I do know. When a man like my client slips and falls on a sidewalk in front of a public library, then he is entitled to no less than two million in compensatory damages and two million in punitive damages.”
“Thank you.”

4.2 IP, 7 H, 3 BB, 7 R, 4 ER, 1 K.
Too early to call him a bust…right?
Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89
Yeah...I was ignoring that one!
Way too early to call him a bust!!! The best we can hope for is that he makes all of his regular starts for the remainder of the season with no setbacks. Remember, Lincoln wasn’t too sharp either when he returned from his surgery.
This is surely Vasquez's last inning?
Didn’t he pitch the first inning at Indy just a couple nights ago?
Perhaps JR is unaware of this.
Anyway, Vazquez doesn’t appear to be gassed.

For a while I forgot
there are other bad teams in the ML. Some are apparently worse than the PBC.
Will wonders never cease.
(Of course it’s easy to mouth off with 9 outs still to go.)
Is Meche still pitching?
Because if he is, Nyjer’s home run was a rare one given up by him. Gotta’ wonder when the last time he gave up three in one game.
Some of the most unlikely people to hit HRs tonight do lol.
by Cutch is the chosen one! on Jun 26, 2009 8:53 PM EDT reply actions
The end of the world.
NyjMo & JJ both went deep off of Meche (he’d only given up 4 HR on the season coming in).
Jack just went yard as well

Even if we end up eating his contract
it may be worth it. I don’t sense that anyone wants a slap-hitting, no power SS regardless of how spiffy his fielding is, especially given Jack’s contract. So let’s just keep him and focus on getting healthy through the draft
Not sure...
…announcers didn’t say anything after that redunkulous play by Jack. Maybe they want to get Jackson on a high note w/out giving up any home runs
ANYbody?
