Not entirely convinced...

…that in ‘96, Benson was significantly less successful a pick than Koch, Chavez, or Bradley would’ve been.

Wow

When you put it in black and white it really is ugly! I mean 2 out of 14…..14%! Yikes!

How many other teams

passed on those guys, too?

Let’s not dump it all on the Pirates’ laps.

Free your ass and your mind will follow.

How long would they have been Pirates.

Look out at the city, it’s not going to turn into Chicago anytime soon.

Small market means small time ball.

Sure he can score goals, but can he cook?

Pittsburgh metro area is 2.3M per last census.

That ranks us 22nd in the country, just under Baltimore and Denver, and two slots ahead of Cincy.

It’s not like we’re Dogpatch, USA here.

I always think

Robert Nutting is worth an estimated 5.8 billion, and is always making money, why can’t he add a little more money. I know he can’t just throw 100’s of millions of dollars at the team and hope they get better, but 20-30 million would help.

Old regime

That is a staggering list. This is why NH is doing what he is doing, he has to rebuild our farm system from the ground up. That list just shows you how bad our old regime was. I have faith in NH and company and excited about our future!

Jeeze

The only draft to say that wasnt too horrible was the draft of 2003. Only one of those players is a majr cpntributer
