Insane
Clearly everyone wants to watch Nate, the only reason this thread is going so long. /sarcasm
Hey that double switch did absolutely nothing, did it?
Maybe they can send Russell to manager school.
Our lesson today, boys, is called “the hit and run.”
Jones.
Larry “Chipper” Jones.
You lose the right to be called “Chipper” after age 30.

Reminds
me of Bob Walk, sounds drunk most of the time and is calling games for a team that’s been bad for a long time
And then
a WP gets Jurrjens to 2nd.

Anyone tired of...

one meeeeeelion innings....

OMG
How is it possible that Craig Monroe is having the exact same season in 2009 that Nate, Sr. had in 2008?
Yogi was right — “It’s deja vu all over again.”
And if he looks like Moss
we can call him Moss Sr. and it’ll be all like 2008 again.
Except that we have Vazquez instead of Eye Chart

All I wanted was to see Cutch hit with someone on again. Way to be Pirates.

Just curious
Hinske has flashed power (20 HR last year).
Why doesn’t he get more time?

That sounds
Like a bit much. This is AMERICA!
How's that roster spot
for Morton looking now. Surely we do not need Hinske and Monroe and Delwyn Young. Didn’t we get one other outfielder in the Bay or Nady trades? If we need a fourth outfielder/pinch-hitting specialist, let it at least be a young guy. Or cut Monroe and give Hinske more playing time.
I went to a Pirates game a few years ago
that lasted 22 innings or so… we left in the 17th to go to Eat’n’Park, ate, then went back to the hotel and the game was STILL on. The Pirates won, though…

I'm not sure who the Atlanta announcers are right now
but their observation is that the strike zone is “getting bigger and bigger and bigger.” Guess the umps want to get back to the motel early.

We should call Morton up now.
He’ll have time to fly out to Atlanta and pitch by the time this is over.

Gotta think that with Karstens pitching today that Gorzo could be headed back to Indy with Morton getting called up.
Or
Gorzo could get a spot start.

Never allow Mario to walk to the plate with a bat in hand in a crucial situation and a DP is in effect
Guess...
the Braves had to score before midnight to avoid turning into pumpkins.
