Then I’m out of here.

FIRST!!?

Guess snot. (inspired by the 12 year old comment).

Only Medlen left in Atlanta bullpen

by Trogluddite on Jun 8, 2009 10:54 PM EDT reply actions

Medlen is a starter isn’t he.

by Brakeman8 on Jun 8, 2009 10:56 PM EDT up reply actions

So he’s probably stretched out pretty good and won’t tire soon…better strike quick

by BattlinBucs on Jun 8, 2009 10:58 PM EDT up reply actions

Yes, but he also hasn’t pitched in relief at all this year…and has been rocked as a starter, so…

by Brakeman8 on Jun 8, 2009 10:58 PM EDT up reply actions

I’m guessing Meek is in for 3 IP tonight if no one scores.

by WstCstBucco on Jun 8, 2009 10:56 PM EDT reply actions

Or we could just put Karstens in and bring up Morton in a couple days.

by Slizeezyc on Jun 8, 2009 11:15 PM EDT up reply actions

How's that roster spot

for Morton looking now. Surely we do not need Hinske and Monroe and Delwyn Young. Didn’t we get one other outfielder in the Bay or Nady trades? If we need a fourth outfielder/pinch-hitting specialist, let it at least be a young guy. Or cut Monroe and give Hinske more playing time.

by Trogluddite on Jun 8, 2009 11:14 PM EDT reply actions

If Morton comes up, it will be Gorzelanny that goes back. They are not going to bring up a pitcher and send down a position player.

by ol Pete on Jun 8, 2009 11:51 PM EDT up reply actions

Gotta think that with Karstens pitching today that Gorzo could be headed back to Indy with Morton getting called up.
