Yeah, much more than that and the load times get really slow.
Another factor is that I have to be there for a new thread to go up, unless I suspect beforehand that it will go over. I actually haven’t spent much time watching games at the computer in the past couple weeks, so there haven’t been many new threads even though some of them had enough comments.

Thanks...
for giving heads up just before the thread change. Makes it a lot easier…especially if you tab away from the thread for a minute.
tab away from the thread
?

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man

I'm droppin' flava, my behavior is hereditary--but my technique is very necessary.
I’m the Dude. So that’s what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you’re not into the whole brevity thing.

That’s the recommendation that was handed down to me by my SB Nation overlords. A lot of blogs were running huge comment threads before this one, so I defer to them. Also, there really isn’t a number that wouldn’t ultimately be arbitrary.

I, for one, welcome our new SB Nation overlords…

Jack's off
(ba-dum-ching)
Get yo’ head in the game, Jackie

Steven Jackson coming in with runners on the corners and one out. I guess he is our designated ground ball specialist.
Freddy...
leaving the bag to get a bad throw isn’t illegal. That’s 2 nights in a row.
Freddy
moving towards 2b, ball thrown behind him

He'd have made that throw
if Nyjer were watching him from left. Seriously, it looks like his clete caught
True that
(insert rap rhythm)
He calls himself a hero
he turned out to be a zero
He curses those around him
Who take it on the chin
Who dat? Lastings
Who DAT? LASTings
WHO DAT? Lastings – that’s Milledge
You know what this game could really use?
Tons of cutaways to a charity drive…

You know what I could really use?

Action Jackson
is falling apart

I was wondering why he didn’t. It was an easy seventh and he was due up first in the bottom of the eighth…
It's not Steven's fault....
He’s worried because NyjMo isnt’ in left to back him up. And its the curse of Lastings – see my rap above.
does JR know
that there are other guys in the pen?

We're Pirates fans
just cuz we have faith in NH, doesn’t mean we have faith in this team to make a comeback.

G Jones is a whoppin'
big lad. He’d make a great target for fielders at first. Hopefully, his hitting will pan out. He reminds me of a (much bigger) Adam LaRoche standing at the plate except that G Jones actually looks like he is ready to swing the bat….
Forget us
imagine how boring games will become for the opposing 2nd-basemaen

But Mario has
such a slow lazy swing, it’s hard to believe he’s not just shoo’ing away flys. I do find it amazing how far he hits the darn ball on occasion
Evan doesn't have the heart to throw to get a 3-pitch out
w/out Nyjer cheering him on from left field.
I didn’t know trading Nyjer Morgan, Nat McLouth, Sean Burnett, and Eric hinske was a dismantling
(look at the poll on the page)
href=“http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/index”
Yeah, we traded...
1 below average outfielder whose performance should lead to multiple drug tests for halucigens – I like NyjMo but I don’t recall him hitting above .240ish in the past
1 older utility payer
1 above-average but not great center fielder
and
1 top draft pick who finally met his upside being a left-handed one inning specialist
quite the dismantling
Kinda sad
that Ramon Vazquez is your last gasp hope.
Trade him now!
