Seems to me this is an atypical Capps year and there is still half a season left to play. Every year of his career Capps’ worth was greater than his salary. and not have brought in Hanrahan and go on to use 2 pitchers that inning with the pitcher due up first in the bottom of the inning
But then
Hanrahan becomes the last guy left in your pen (w/ Veal).

Maholm is 0.5 or 2 depending on which ratio you use, more than GJ at 0.75 or 1.33

pulled a Ryan Dempster. Caught his foot on the top rail jumping out of the dugout…and came real close to a face plant.
How awesome (but slightly depressing) is it that Garrett Jones is all our offense tonight!
Too bad he doesn’t hit with men on base but I’ll take 2 solo HRs every night from him!

I find it indescribably awesome that the team scored two runs, and they were both on solo home runs by the same guy, and that the second home run was a walkoff in extra innings.
Who the hell is this guy?
