Via Twitter, Mets reporter Kevin Burkhardt said, "Our hotel in Pitt is overrun by people dressed up as animals. Anthrocon? And they act as animals. I have seen it all and I am freaked out. I just took a picture with a person who was dressed like Ralph Wigam as a Beaver."

I have several friends who are furries, some who “suit” (wear full-on animal costumes). Others typically wear tails with regular clothes. They have their “cons,” just as sci-fi fans or baseball enthusiasts.
Lots of them are gay, but not all.
It does seem to be a “bandwagon” kind of thing.
Free your ass and your mind will follow.

I stayed at the Willaim Penn a few years back
And I found it pretty cool that the Twins were staying there as well. Then these people wearing animal costumes took over the place. These furry people creep me out.
