What year is this?

This team will never be anyway.

Bonds? lol

Neil Walker will probably never be the Pirates every day 3B. Even if Luigi never develops power, he’s better than Neil.

Why would you even want Craig Hansen? Grabow will be gone…probably in the next two weeks. What happened to Jesse Chavez or Evan Meek…or even Stephen Jackson? Where’s Michael Dubee?

Jack Wilson? And no one on the bench to play SS behind him. Hope he’s Cal Ripken.

At least Brandon Moss is gone. lol

Yeah, what year is this roster supposed to be for?

If it’s this year, I think that roster would be somewhere around 95 losses as you would have two black hole starting players in Moskos and Walker (and possibly Jones).

This Fanpost and roster don’t really make sense in general though…

If we had two front-end starting big league pitchers (along with replacing Moskos, Jones, and Walker in that scenario) then it might be a playoff team. But that’s a gigantically huge “if”. We have a bunch of borderline #3/4 starters in the majors and the system now, without a likely front-end guy like Bumgarner or Kyle Drabek.

I don’t think Neil Walker ever makes it to Pittsburgh.

If the division keeps failing like it is now

this will easily win the division with 82 wins. Huntington still has a lot of work to do

I’m gonna assume this is 2011 or 2012 so i ask, why in the world is Garrett Jones starting of Jose Tabata?

by glass0941 on Jul 21, 2009 12:12 AM EDT reply actions

The idea of sitting Barry Bonds...

…in order to play Garrett Jones just blew my mind.

Kaboom.
