The Pirates trade players like I grocery shop.

They are looking for deals, not quality. They want generic brands that are comparable to the real thing.

Which in the end, they will go on  to become a 2nd or 3rd place team.  That is only until a few of their prospects

become legit stars and they promptly trade them.    Why can't the Pirates risk building a star studded team, win

regularly, and build a national fan base.  This increases TV ratings, merchandise sales and attendance.

This was not practical before cable and dish tv.  We all have access to most baseball games played now.

I was up in PA last week, and even the announcer sounded 2nd rate. No kidding. Louisville's AAA announcer is

way better.  Wake up and look at things objectively, they don't care like we do.

The price for the hope of a winning team  is often isolation and solitude.

Give me back the team I remember, or give me death!"
