Who replaces Freddy???

It seems more and more obvious that the PIrates are going to make every attempt to deal a number of players by the end of the month.  John Grabow, Jack Wilson, Adam LaRoche and Freddy Sanchez are all being discussed and Even players like Ryan Doumit and Matt Capps could also wind up on new teams if the price is right.  The big question is who is going to replace these guys.  You may not like some of the internal options, but guys like Brian Bixler, Steve Pearce and Garrett Jones may all find themselves filling the void.  But, what about second base?  Luis CruzRamon Vazquez?  We;, Ken Rosenthal at Fox Sports says Neal, Frank and the front office gang has their eye on someone.  How about speedster Eric Young Jr.?   http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/9778206/Vazquez-has-too-much-value-for-Braves-to-move

Depending on what it would cost, I kinda like the idea.  Although he has no pop, he has as much if not more speed than McCutchen.  So, whadda ya think?  Anyone else hearing anything else?

Well....

Seeing as how I’m a huge bobblehead fan, I’m gonna go ahead and say that Freddy will be here until his National League All-Star Bobblehead comes out next year. I mean its tradition now isnt it. Bay gone less than 2 months from bobblehead dissemination. McClouth, less than 2 months from bobblehead day. So as far as I can tell, it will be next year. but it will be dependant on how early in the season Sanchez All Star Bobblehead comes out.

We'll be well-positioned next year for #1

The Nats will have Strasburg, and we’ll have all kinds of problems across the diamond at the ML level.

Still if we finish so bad we draft 2

There’s no guarantee that the Nationals will take Harper especially after the amount they’d have to pay for Strasburg. We could land him.

i was looking at eric young jr.

this guy is a chone figgins or juan pierre. he has led MiLB in SB 4 the past 3 yeas. He had 76 SBs in 2006. Yes, that is more than Cutch.

but again, (sorry i didn't think of this in the past comment)

he’s with the rockies. they’re pretty much set positional players wise and I doubt they’ll want to trade for 1 reliever for E.Y. Jr. ++
